– Game drive in Akagera National park
Game drive is one of Tourist Activities in Akagera Park that rewards with the searching for the big mammals like Elephants, Giraffes, Buffaloes, several Antelope species, and recently the re-introduced Lions and Rhinos. The park is a varied habitat for wildlife and a number of bird species with over 500 bird species in the park making it a birding paradise.
– Boat trip in Lake Ihema
Ihema Lake is the second biggest lake in Rwanda after Lake Kivu. The ihama Lake is located in the southern park of the Akagera National park and taking a boat trip in this lake is one of Tourist Activities in Akagera Park that rewards with seeing hippos swallowing water, crocodiles and numerous bird species around the shires on this Lake.
– Night Game drive
This activity rewards visitors to spot nocturnal animals like leopard, hyenas, bush babies, mostly known as late hunters. The activity starts at 6:00pm everyday and ends around 8:00pm.

The Akagera National park has hot air balloon that involve the flight over the remote areas of the park. This flight reward with the spot of all the wildlife that are far away in the park that could nob e spotted during the game drive.
