Overview

Tracking mountain gorillas is one of the most popular Rwandan tourist activities. This 3-day Rwanda Gorilla Tracking takes you to track gorillas in Volcanoes National Park. Mountain Gorillas can only be found in a few places on Earth and Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park is one of them. This is why tourists from around the world visit Rwanda every year to take part in Gorilla trekking. For these 3 days, we have added 1 day of Golden Monkey trekking to round off your experience. You can also extend your package to include volcano hiking, such as the Bisoke Hike.

Day 1: Kigali – Volcanoes National Park

Your day will begin with a warm welcome from our driver guides, who will pick you up from your hotel in Kigali or meet you upon arrival at Kigali International Airport. Following a brief orientation, you’ll embark on a Kigali city tour, starting with a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre, which offers a deep and meaningful insight into Rwanda’s history. After this reflective experience, you’ll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before setting off on a scenic drive through the breathtaking landscapes of the “Land of a Thousand Hills” on the way to Volcanoes National Park. Upon arrival in Musanze, you’ll be transferred to your accommodation, where you can relax over dinner and settle in for an overnight stay, ready for the next day’s exciting adventure.
