During your game drive, expect to spot a variety of wildlife, including elephants, wildebeests, cheetahs, zebras, waterbucks, elands, hartebeests, impalas, giraffes, and more. Enjoy lunch at the scenic Tarangire River picnic site, with views of the river and nearby animals. After lunch, continue your game drive before heading to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park (Central) via Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, depart at 8:30 am with your driver-guide for a journey to Serengeti National Park, passing through the renowned Ngorongoro Conservation Area, often referred to as the “eighth wonder of the world.” Your guide will stop at several points to take in the stunning views of the Ngorongoro Crater. You will also visit a Maasai boma for an insightful cultural tour before entering the Serengeti via the Naabi Hill Gate. In the evenings, return to your camp to unwind, enjoy dinner, and reflect on the day’s extraordinary experiences.

Day 7: Balloon Safari & Game Drive to Central Serengeti

Enhance your Serengeti adventure with a breathtaking balloon safari. As the sun rises, take to the skies in a hot air balloon, offering a unique perspective of the vast Serengeti below. Marvel at the sweeping landscapes and the herds of wildebeest from above. After landing, enjoy a celebratory bush breakfast before continuing your game drive en route to Central Serengeti. The rest of the day will be spent exploring more of the Serengeti’s wildlife-rich plains.

Enjoy lunch at a scenic picnic spot before continuing your game drive to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drives to Karatu

Rise early for an exciting day of game drives in the Ngorongoro Crater, guided by your expert safari guide. The Ngorongoro Crater, often dubbed the eighth wonder of the natural world, spans 102 square miles with 2,000-foot-high walls, creating a sanctuary for a vast array of wildlife. Keep an eye out for rare and endangered species such as the black rhino, alongside lions, elands, waterbucks, wildebeests, hyenas, jackals, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, cheetahs, hippos, and numerous bird species.
