There is an exciting new wildlife experience in Akagera National Park: tracking white rhinos. Recently, the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) and African Parks, which manage Akagera, introduced a significant number of white rhinos into the park. This group includes 19 females and 11 males, aged 4–27 years, to encourage breeding and population growth. As a result, visitors now have an opportunity to witness one of Africa’s Big Five up close.
