3 Days Rwanda Gorilla Tracking
Tracking mountain gorillas is one of the most popular Rwandan tourist activities. This 3 Days Gorilla Tracking takes you to track the gorillas in Volcanoes National Park. Mountain Gorillas can only be found in a few places on Earth and Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park is one of them. This is why tourists from around the world visit Rwanda every year to take part in Gorilla trekking. Day 1: Kigali–Volcanoes National Park (Travel Time +2hrs) Flight
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport (Must be on an early flight during the daytime). Embark on a drive to Ruhengeri near volcanoes. You drive amidst rolling hills with great views of the valleys, with great plantations. Dinner and overnight stay at Five Volcanoes Boutique lodge (luxury lodge) or Da Vinci Lodge (Mid facility) Meal plan: Lunch and Dinner
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking
Begin the day with breakfast ready and get ready for trekking, which begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from the Rwanda park officials. Ensure to carry along with you a rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, hiking boots, etc. The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for. The tracking may take between 2 and 6 hours but it’s well worth the effort. In the afternoon, you will have a local community encounter by visiting the Iby’ Iwacu cultural centre to get to know the real traditional history of Rwanda’s past kingship leadership, marriage, beer making, and local herbs to mention but a few. Dinner and overnight stay at Volcanoes Boutique lodge (luxury lodge) or Da Vinci Lodge (Mid facility) Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 3: Volcanoes – Kigali Airport (Travel Time +2hrs)
After an early relaxed breakfast, embark on the drive from volcanoes back to Kigali. You may choose to have an early lunch en-route in Kigali. Time permitting visit the Genocide memorial centre before being transferred to Kigali Airport for your outbound flight. End of service Meal plan: Breakfast & Lunch
