Day 1: Airport Transfer to Hotel
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your driver-guide, who will transfer you to your city hotel for check-in. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Transfer from Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park – Travel time 3.5 hrs
After breakfast at your hotel, you will be introduced to your safari driver for a pre-safari briefing, followed by a prompt departure for Lake Nakuru National Park at 08:30 hrs. En route, enjoy a scenic drive through picturesque farmlands and the floor of the Great Rift Valley, with a brief stopover for photo opportunities and sightseeing. You will arrive at your lodge or tented camp in time for lunch and check-in. In the afternoon, set out on a thrilling game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, renowned for hosting four of the Big Five, along with a rich diversity of birdlife and other wildlife. The park’s key highlights include sightings of white rhinos and, during certain months, the spectacular presence of both lesser and greater flamingos. Day 3: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara National Reserve- Travel time 6.5 hrs
Enjoy an early breakfast starting from 06:30 hrs. At 07:15 hrs, depart Lake Nakuru and embark on a scenic drive to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge or tented camp and settle in before enjoying a delicious lunch. Later in the afternoon, experience your first game drive in the Masai Mara from 15:30 hrs to 18:00 hrs, where you’ll have the chance to spot a wide array of wildlife in one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations. Day 4: Masai Mara Game drives
Spend the entire day exploring the vast and breathtaking Masai Mara National Reserve, with game drives that offer an incredible opportunity to encounter its rich and diverse wildlife. As you traverse the plains, keep an eye out for resident big cats such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as well as elephants, buffalos, zebras, spotted hyenas, Masai giraffes, elands, gazelles, hippos, black rhinos, and an array of bird species. Day 8: Leave Serengeti for game drive in Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu
After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, one of Africa’s most remarkable natural wonders. En route, you have the option to visit the Olduvai Gorge—an important archaeological site where Louis and Mary Leakey made groundbreaking discoveries related to early human evolution. The on-site museum offers a fascinating insight into the history of humankind and is a worthwhile stop for those interested in anthropology. Later in the afternoon, descend the steep walls of the Ngorongoro Crater for game drives along the crater floor, renowned for its exceptional density of wildlife. You may encounter a wide variety of animals, including lions, elephants (notably large bulls), cheetahs, spotted hyenas, black rhinos, wildebeests, jackals, baboons, buffalos, hippos, flamingos on the crater lakes, and even the elusive caracal. After breakfast at your lodge, check out by 08:30 hrs and begin your drive to Arusha City. Upon arrival, you will be transferred directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport to board your afternoon flight to Kigali, scheduled for 14:00 hrs. Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, proceed through customs and immigration. You will then be warmly welcomed by our driver guide, who will greet you with a smile and introduce you to the beauty of Rwanda, affectionately known as the Land of a Thousand Hills. From here, you will be transferred to your booked hotel for check-in, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 10: Transfer to Nyungwe National Park. Travel time +5 hours

En route, make a stop in the Southern Province to visit the Ethnographic Museum, an enriching experience that offers deep insights into Rwanda’s cultural heritage, traditional lifestyles, and the historical leadership system of kingship. Day 11: Chimpanzee tracking and canopy walk way

Upon arrival at the park, you will receive a briefing before setting off on your chimpanzee trekking adventure. Once the chimpanzees are located, you will have the special opportunity to spend one unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat. During the trek, you may also encounter other primates, including the famous Angola colobus monkeys and a variety of bird species. After the chimpanzee trek, enjoy lunch before heading out for the renowned canopy walk, a thrilling experience that offers panoramic views of the lush rainforest from above. Day 12: Transfer to Musanze with enroute boat trip in Lake Kivu. Travel time + 5hrs
Wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the tranquil waters of Lake Kivu, followed by a leisurely breakfast. Afterwards, embark on a scenic boat ride to explore the stunning islands scattered across this magnificent lake. During the excursion, you will enjoy a nature walk on one of the islands, famously known for hosting thousands of bats. Lake Kivu is also a haven for bird lovers, often referred to as a birding paradise. You may spot a variety of bird species such as cormorants, pied kingfishers, weaver birds, herons, and many others. Later, return to the mainland and begin your journey to Musanze, a scenic drive of approximately three hours. Located near Volcanoes National Park, Musanze serves as the primary hub for visitors, with most accommodations situated in this vibrant tourism area since there are no lodges within the park itself. Day 13: Golden Monkey Trekking & transfer to Bwindi Travel time + 2hrs
After a warm early morning breakfast, you will be picked up by our professional safari driver-guide and transferred to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters for a briefing ahead of your golden monkey trekking adventure. Much like gorilla trekking, this experience involves tracking these lively and endangered primates through the forest—though it is generally less strenuous than gorilla trekking. After the trek, enjoy a relaxed afternoon before beginning your transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest via the Cyanika Border. Upon arrival, check in to your booked accommodation. Day 14: Gorilla Trekking Experience

Once you locate the gorilla family, you will have the extraordinary opportunity to spend one full hour in their presence, watching their interactions, social behaviors, and capturing unforgettable moments through your camera lens. The trek may last from a few hours to most of the day, depending on the gorillas’ movements. After the trek, return to your lodge for a well-deserved lunch. Day 15: Boat ride and transfer to Kigali Travel time + 4 hrs
After a relaxed breakfast, you will transfer to the stunning Lake Bunyonyi, renowned for its natural beauty and tranquil atmosphere. Here, you will enjoy a peaceful moment of relaxation, followed by a scenic canoe ride across the lake’s calm waters. As you glide along, take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and numerous islands scattered throughout this spectacular lake. Lake Bunyonyi is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, home to a variety of bird species that can be spotted during your excursion. After the boat ride, you will begin your transfer to Kigali, with an en route lunch. If time permits, you will enjoy a brief Kigali city tour before being transferred to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
