Day 1: Drive to Murchison; Travel time + 6 hours.
Today you will picked from your hotel and drive to Murchison through the Luwero triangle with a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track the Rhino and proceed to Masindi for an enroute lunch. Murchison Falls National Park sits on the shore of Lake Albert, in northwest Uganda. It’s known for Murchison Falls, where the Victoria Nile River surges through a narrow gap over a massive drop. Day 2: Game drive.
Today you will be subjected to two game drives, an early morning and evening game drive, an early morning game drive to catch up with the morning risers and hunters such as the elephants, hartebeests, lions, giraffes, leopards and more, later return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
After lunch, you may opt to relax at the lodge balcony or head for another evening game drive to increase on your animal count so as to have a look at the late evening grazers and hunters such as the giraffes, jackals, elephants, buffalos at the Albertan side of the park with varieties of birds such as the Abyssinia ground hornbill, bustards, egrets etc. This may give chance to spot any wildlife that might have not been seen during the morning game drive and later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at the lodge. Day 3: Head for a boat cruise along the Nile.
Today you will have breakfast at 06:30 hrs as you prepare for a boat cruise along the Nile to view aquatic animals and other wildlife like crocodiles, hippos, waterbucks, elephants, monitor lizards etc., and later hike to the top of the falls to have a view of the magnificent Nile as it forces itself through the narrow tunnel. Rest of the evening spent at leisure in your lodge relaxing or enjoying a swim. Day 4: Return to Kampala; Travel time +6 hours.
After an early morning breakfast, you will head for a brief early morning game drive and later return to the lodge, checkout and drive back to Kampala with an enroute lunch in Masindi reaching in the late afternoon and you’re transferred to the airport to catch up with your late flight.
