Overview
Your 2 Days Nyungwe Chimpanzee Trekking Rwanda Safari is one of our most magical and most liked safaris as it gives a great encounter of chimpanzee trek in the land of a thousand hills. The safari will give you a great chance to do a canopy walk and chimpanzee trekking at Nyungwe National Park, as you sum up your safari with us.
Day 1: Transfer to Nyungwe National Park for Canopy. Driving time +5 hours
Early in the morning, enjoy breakfast before checking out of the hotel. Begin your journey towards Rwanda’s Western Province, making a stop in the Southern Province to visit the Royal Palace Museum and the Ethnographic Museum. Continue the trip with a stop for an en-route lunch. Afterward, proceed to Nyungwe National Park for an exciting canopy walk experience. Later in the afternoon, return for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Nyungwe Chimpanzee trekking and transfer back to Kigali
Today, after your early morning breakfast, you will leave your hotel to experience the natural forest of Nyungwe well known for having 13 species of primates, and transferred to the park for briefing and chimpanzee trekking. You will be entitled to one hour of finding the chimpanzees. After doing the chimpanzee trek, head for lunch at the hotel and transfer back to Kigali to your hotel or to the airport to catch up with your late evening flight.
