This 15 Days Rwanda Gorilla Trek and Tanzania Safari takes you all way to Rwanda for gorilla trekking and golden monkey trekking to Volcanoes National Park. Drive through the unwinding hills in rural areas into the home of endangered mountain gorillas and golden monkeys. You will also be to encounter a number of bird species and other wildlife. You will also have a visit to Iby’ Iwacu cultural village to get an insight of the Rwanda culture, and watch their traditional ways of living as you have chance to interact with these ex-poachers. You will as well have a brief Kigali city tour, to explore the local markets and Genocide museum that will reward you with the past history of Rwanda. Later you will jet to Tanzania for a wild bush safari, to experience an amazing big game safari in search for the Big Five. You will visit Lake Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park, home of the Big 5. You will wind your trip with a beach life in Zanzibar, deep yourself in blue waters and white sand, as you enjoy some excursions and total relaxation, before you fly back home.

Day 1: Transfer from the airport to the hotel
Upon arrival at Kigali international Airport and passing through the immigration process, you will be welcomed by our safari driver who will, brief you shortly and transfer you to the booked accommodation at Flame Tree Village Hotel (Mid – range) Or Quiet Haven hotel (Standard hotel). Day 2: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park. Travel time +2hrs
Today you will be picked at your lodge by our guide or company representative, head for a city tour to visit the local market and Kigali genocide memorial ground before being transferred to Musanze near Volcanoes National Park where you will your dinner and overnight stay at Da Vinci Gorilla Lodge (midrange) or La Palme Hotel (Standard).Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking & Cultural Tour
Early morning cup of coffee, then prepare for the gorilla trekking briefing from the park headquarters and thereafter, you will enter the jungle with your packed lunch to search the shy mountain gorillas and enjoy their life style in their real home. After meeting the gorillas, you can sit around these great apes for a whole hour watching their social life as you take pictures. On a gorilla trekking safari, a reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as walking shoes, packed food and mineral water, insect repellent, sun screen and hut. The gorilla tracking experience takes half or whole day depending on the movements of these primates. After this gorilla tracking experience you will return to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, ready for cultural tour to visit Iby’ Iwacu cultural center to get an insight of Rwandan culture. Day 4: Golden Monkey Trekking & Transfer to Kigali.
Today after you warm early morning breakfast, you will be picked by our safari driver guide who will transfer you to the park headquarters for briefing with your packed lunch and start off you day golden monkey trekking in search for these shy primates in the jungle.
Just like the gorilla trekking experience, the same applies to golden monkey trekking though no so hectic like gorilla trekking. You will later return to the lodge for lunch and later transfer to Kigali and time permitting have a brief visit to Kimironko local market for a market tour and some local shopping if you wish too, before drop off at your hotel for the night treat and dinner at Flame Tree Village Hotel (Mid – range) Or Quiet Haven hotel (Standard hotel). Day 5: Kigali – Arusha
After your relaxed breakfast, you will checkout of the lodge and transferred to the airport to catch up with your flight to Tanzania for a wild game drive safari.
Your Rwanda Eco Company & safari represenative meets you at Kilimanjaro Internatioal Airport upon arrival on an evening flight. Transfer to your Arusha hotel for check in. Dinner on own account. Overnight stay at the hotel at Arusha Serena Hotel(Mid – range) or Asmasi Hotels(Standard hotel). Meal Plan: Bed and Breakfast basis.
Day 6: Arusha to Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA).Travel time +3 hrs
The tour starts with lunch in Arusha town at 1230hrs. 1400hrs drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving in time for dinner and overnight at the lodge at at Farm of Dreams Lodge (Mid – range) Or Bougainvillea Safari Lodge(Standard Camp). Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Day 7: NCAA to Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park.Travel time +3 hrs
Today you will descend 2000 feet (over 600 meters) to the floor of the crater for a half day crater tour. Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the lake area, where you may see the flamingos and the open Savannah where the lions hunt for food. Lunch at the lodge, and then drive to central Serengeti and proceed with game drive in the park. Day 8: Full Day Game Drives into Serengeti National Park.

Day 11: Lake Manyara to Arusha – Kilimanjaro Airport.Travel time +4 hrs
After morning breakfast, you will depart for a morning game drive in Lake Manyara, enjoy an early morning game drive in the Park, then drive back to Arusha for hot Lunch at a restaurant and later transfer to Kilimanjaro airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Arrive at Zanzibar International airport, meet and greet with the guide/driver at the Airport, then transfers to beach hotel of your choice for dinner and overnight at Ocean Paradise (Mid – range) or Kichanga Lodge (Standard hotel). Day 12: Day excursion in Zanzibar, Stone town tour & Spice tour
Have morning breakfast, you will head for a day excursion to explore the vibrant hot spot of Zanzibar with a tour of the Stone Town, and learn about its rich history and cultural heritage and Spice tour, which is the second income earner of Zanzibar, with a drive through a profusion of greenery in the countryside seeing, smelling and tasting a variety of spices and mouth-watering tropical seasonal fruits such as jack fruit, pineapple, banana, green coconut juice, dourian, love apple, litche, soursop ( depending on the season ) etc. Spices such as cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, black pepper, turmeric, vanilla, and nutmeg – are as exotic as the flavour. This is also the very best and cheapest place to buy locally made perfumes and oils. Our guided walking tour passes through villages and spice plantations, a walk through the farms as spice farms workers climbs trees, seek out specific plants and cuts off various barks, letting you see, feel and taste everything. Day 13: Sea Excursion
Morning after breakfast 08;00 depart from Hotel of your choice for Safari Blue. Safari Blue is like but more than a day out activity. This excursion ideally permits the clients to see the natural environment of specifically Menai Bay, the Mangroves, Baobab tree, and sand banks. The clients enjoy the tranquillity of cruising by sail in one of Safari Blue’s traditional hand built wooden dhows. A peaceful way to end your memorable day, you will be served with lunch and soft drinks. Tour ends in the evening. Day 14: Free day – Self treat
It’s your free day, to enjoy yourself to the fullest, you can opt to stay at beach, or arrange private snorkeling adventure or just relax at the hotel, as you go through your photos, taken during your safari. The choice is yours to try something on your own. Overnight at Ocean Paradise (Mid – range) or Kichanga Lodge (Standard hotel). Meal Plan: Breakfast only.
Day 15: Transfer to Zanzibar airport for your fly out.
Today is the last day of your holiday in Zanzibar, You will have free time and leisure in the beach hotel until your departure time.
