This 15 Days Rwanda Gorilla Trek and Tanzania Safari takes you all way to Rwanda for gorilla trekking and golden monkey trekking to Volcanoes National Park. Day 1: Transfer from the airport to the hotel
Upon arrival at Kigali international Airport and passing through the immigration process, you will be welcomed by our safari driver who will, brief you shortly and transfer you to the booked accommodation.

Day 2: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park. Travel time +2hrs
Today you will be picked at your lodge by our guide or company representative, head for a city tour to visit the local market and Kigali genocide memorial ground before being transferred to Musanze near Volcanoes National Park where you will your dinner and overnight stay at the booked accommodation.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking and Cultural Tour
Early morning cup of coffee, then prepare for the gorilla trekking briefing from the park headquarters and thereafter, you will enter the jungle with your packed lunch to search for the shy mountain gorillas and enjoy their lifestyle in their real home. After meeting the gorillas, you can sit around these great apes for a whole hour watching their social life as you take pictures. The gorilla tracking experience takes half or whole day depending on the movements of these primates. After this gorilla tracking experience you will return to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, I am ready for a cultural tour to visit Iby’ Iwacu cultural center to get an insight of Rwandan culture. You later drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight at the booked lodge.

Day 4: Golden Monkey Trekking & Transfer to Kigali.
Today after your warm early morning breakfast, you will be picked by our safari driver guide who will transfer you to the park headquarters for briefing with your packed lunch and start off you day golden monkey trekking in search for these shy primates in the jungle.
Just like the gorilla trekking experience, golden monkey trekking offers a unique and memorable encounter, although it is generally less strenuous than gorilla trekking. After the trek, you will return to the lodge for a well-deserved lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will transfer to Kigali. Time permitting, you may enjoy a brief visit to the vibrant Kimironko local market for a cultural tour and an opportunity to shop for local crafts and produce, should you wish. The day concludes with a drop-off at your hotel, where you can relax and enjoy a delightful dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer to the airport for your flight to Tanzania
After a relaxed breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and be transferred to the airport for your flight to Tanzania. Upon arrival on an evening flight at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your Tanzania driver-guide. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Arusha for check-in, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Transfer to Tarangire NP for the game drives
At 08:30 hrs, you will depart for Tarangire National Park to enjoy a full day of game drives and wildlife viewing. The park is especially famous for its large herds of elephants, as well as impressive numbers of wildebeests and zebras that roam freely through the woodlands and gather along the Tarangire River, the lifeline of the park and the origin of its name. You may also encounter buffaloes, giraffes, fringe-eared oryx, gazelles, impalas, mongooses, hartebeests, crocodiles, and hippos, all of which inhabit this rich ecosystem, feeding on grasses, shrubs, acacias, and smaller prey. Predators such as lions are frequently sighted, while sightings of cheetahs, hyenas, leopards, and even wild dogs are possible for the lucky observer. After an enriching day of authentic wildlife experiences, you will be transferred to your accommodation in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Game drive in Ngorongoro Crater and transfer to Serengeti
Today, you will descend approximately 2,000 feet (over 600 meters) to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater for a thrilling game drive. Explore diverse habitats, including forested areas where monkeys and elephants roam, the crater lake which often attracts flocks of flamingos, and the open savannah, home to predators such as lions on the hunt. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of this natural wonder before continuing your journey to the Central Serengeti. Upon arrival, embark on an afternoon game drive through the park. Dinner and overnight stay will be at your lodge.

Day 11: Lake Manyara to Arusha Airport.Travel time +4 hrs

Arrive at Zanzibar International airport, meet and greet with the guide/driver at the Airport, then transfer to a beach hotel of your choice for dinner and overnight.

Day 12: Day excursion in Zanzibar, Stone town tour & Spice tour
Have morning breakfast, you will head for a day excursion to explore the vibrant hot spot of Zanzibar with a tour of the Stone Town, and learn about its rich history and cultural heritage and Spice tour, which is the second income earner of Zanzibar, with a drive through a profusion of greenery in the countryside seeing, smelling and tasting a variety of spices. Spices such as cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, black pepper, turmeric, vanilla, and nutmeg – are as exotic as the flavour. This is also the very best and cheapest place to buy locally made perfumes and oils. Our guided walking tour passes through villages and spice plantations, a walk through the farms as spice farm workers climb trees, seek out specific plants and cut off various barks, letting you see, feel and taste everything.
