This 10 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking and Masai Mara Migration Adventure offers an unforgettable wildlife journey across East Africa. The experience begins with gorilla trekking in the thick forests of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda, one of the most remarkable places in the world to observe mountain gorillas. In fact, Bwindi protects nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorilla population.
In addition, the safari introduces you to local culture and beautiful countryside landscapes as you travel through Rwanda and Uganda. During the journey, you can visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre and later explore the peaceful waters of Lake Bunyonyi during a canoe experience.
After your gorilla adventure, you will fly to Kenya to continue your wildlife safari. Here, you will search for the Big Five in Lake Nakuru National Park before continuing to the famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. The Mara offers excellent opportunities to see big cats, large herds of wildlife, and abundant bird species. Most importantly, this safari allows you to witness the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration, one of the greatest wildlife events on Earth.
