Day 1: Kigali Airport Transfer.
Upon arrival at Kigali international airport, you will go through custom and immigration, and you will be met by our company guide/ representative who will warmly welcome you to the Land of a thousand hills that Rwanda is know of, and later drive to your booked hotel accommodation for dinner and overnight stay

Day 2: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park. Travel time +2hrs
Today you will be picked at your lodge after completing your morning breakfast and head for a city tour to visit the local market and Kigali genocide memorial ground, and have lunch before being transferred to Musanze near Volcanoes National Park where you will your dinner and overnight stay. Dinner and overnight at the booked lodge.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking and Cultural visit
After the morning breakfast, then prepare for the gorilla trekking briefing from the park headquarters and thereafter, you will be briefed before you enter the jungle with your packed lunch to search for the shy mountain gorillas and enjoy their lifestyle in their real home. After meeting the gorillas, you can sit around these great apes for a whole hour watching their social life as you take pictures. On a gorilla trekking safari, a reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as walking shoes, packed food and mineral water, insect repellent, sunscreen and hut. The gorilla tracking experience takes half or whole day depending on the movements of these primates. After this gorilla tracking experience you will return to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you will head for lunch, later head for cultural experience at Iby’ Iwacu, to get cultural insight of the Rwandans.

Day 4: Golden monkey trekking & transfer to Kigali for flight to Kenya
Today, after an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters at the Office of Tourism in Kinigi, upon arrival, you’ll be briefed by a park ranger on the rules and regulations for golden monkey tracking. After the briefing, you’ll venture into the forest in search of these shy and charming primates. The golden monkey trek can last anywhere from one to three hours similar to gorilla trekking, but it is generally less strenuous. After the trek, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before beginning your journey back to Kigali. Later in the evening, you will catch your flight to Kenya. Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by your driver-guide and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi for check-in. Dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Transfer Nairobi to Masai National Park – Travel time 5.5 hrs
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, followed by an introduction to your safari driver-guide and a pre-safari briefing. Afterwards, depart for the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch. Later in the afternoon, embark on your first exciting game drive in the Masai Mara, from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6 and Day 7: Game drives in Masai Mara
Spend the next two days immersed in the incredible wilderness of the Masai Mara, exploring its vast landscapes on thrilling game drives. As you traverse the reserve, keep an eye out for the Big Cats like lions, cheetahs, and leopards as well as a variety of antelopes and bird species. Other remarkable sightings may include buffalos, zebras, spotted hyenas, Masai giraffes, elands, gazelles, hippos, black rhinos, and many more fascinating creatures that call this ecosystem home. The Masai Mara, one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife reserves, boasts an exceptional diversity of predators, scavengers, plains game, and prolific birdlife. It is also the stage for the world-famous Great Migration, an awe-inspiring natural spectacle that occurs annually between July and October, when over 1.2 million wildebeest and zebras cross from the Serengeti in search of greener pastures. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8: Transfer from Masai Mara to Nairobi and Flight to Zanzibar Travel time + 5.5 hrs
Enjoy breakfast at the camp, followed by check-out. Depending on the location of your camp and available time, you may enjoy a final en-route game drive as you begin your journey back to Nairobi. Upon arrival in the city, and if time permits, you may enjoy an optional lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant. Afterwards, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your afternoon flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Zanzibar International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide/driver and transferred to your beach hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 9: Day excursion in Zanzibar, Stone town tour & Spice tour
After enjoying breakfast, set out on a full-day excursion to explore the vibrant highlights of Zanzibar. Begin with a guided tour of Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you’ll delve into the island’s rich history, cultural heritage, and unique blend of Arab, Persian, Indian, and European influences. Continue with a captivating Spice Tour, Zanzibar’s second-largest source of income after tourism. Drive through lush countryside landscapes filled with tropical greenery and visit spice plantations where you’ll see, smell, and even taste a variety of exotic spices and seasonal fruits. Depending on the time of year, you may sample jackfruit, pineapple, bananas, green coconut juice, durian, love apples, lychee, and soursop, among others. Discover aromatic spices such as cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, black pepper, turmeric, vanilla, and nutmeg—each offering a burst of vibrant flavor and scent. Day 10 – day 11: Free day at the beach
Today is your free day to enjoy at your leisure. You may choose to unwind on the beach, arrange a private snorkeling adventure, or simply relax at your hotel. The day is entirely yours to spend as you wish or whether exploring more of Zanzibar or indulging in some well-deserved rest and relaxation.

Day 12: Transfer to Zanzibar airport for your fly out.
