Nyungwe National Park sits in Rwanda’s southern province, roughly 218 kilometers from Kigali. By road, the journey takes 5–6 hours. However, helicopter transfers from Kigali International Airport via Akagera Aviation take only 45 minutes. Alternatively, you can fly to Kamembe with RwandAir and drive one hour to the park. The Nyungwe Canopy Walk Experience is about a 1 hour hike into the forest.
