Singita Kwitonda Lodge is a luxury lodge set on the edge of Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. It is one of the closest lodges to the park entrance, which makes it very easy for gorilla trekking. Singita Kwitonda Lodge is located just outside the main gate of Volcanoes National Park in Kinigi, Musanze District. From here, you can reach the gorilla trekking starting point in just a few minutes, which is very convenient compared to other properties. Moreover, the lodge directly faces across farmland, the forest, and the beautiful volcano peaks of the Virunga Mountains. Because of this setting, guests can enjoy both the cultural life of nearby villages and the quiet beauty of the park.

Singita Kwitonda Lodge has seven luxurious suites and one spacious two-bedroom suite. Every suite includes a fireplace, a private heated plunge pool, and floor-to-ceiling windows with forest or mountain views. Inside, the décor combines modern design with local Rwandan touches, using handwoven baskets, volcanic stone, and natural wood. In addition, the large bathrooms, comfortable beds, and private terraces give a feeling of space and privacy. Important Information about Singita Kwitonda Lodge

Check-in at Singita Kwitonda Lodge is from 2:00 pm, and check-out is by 11:00 am. The lodge is open year-round, but gorilla trekking is most popular from June to September and December to February. Children aged ten and older are welcome, but gorilla trekking itself is only allowed from age fifteen, following park rules. A minimum two-night stay is required if you are doing one trek, and three nights if you plan two treks.
