Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park and Transfer to Kigali

On Day 2, after your early morning breakfast, at 7:30 am, you and your packed lunch will be transported to the park’s headquarters. At the Office of Tourism in Kinigi, you will be briefed by the ranger about the rules and regulations of Mountain Gorilla tracking before you head off to the jungle in search of these gentle giants. The gorilla trek can last from an hour to six hours depending on the gorilla’s movements. The trek is strenuous at times but incredibly rewarding. You will be given an hour with the gorillas to take as many pictures as possible.
