Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge

Overview

Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge is one of Rwanda’s most prestigious safari lodges, positioned directly on the boundary of Volcanoes National Park with views of the Virunga volcanoes. Eight individual cottages are designed to blend seamlessly with the surrounding landscape.

The lodge is managed in partnership with the African Wildlife Foundation and supports the local Sabyinyo Community Lodge Company, meaning your stay contributes directly to community livelihoods around the park.

Accommodation

Eight standalone cottages with stone fireplaces, private verandas, and en-suite bathrooms. Each cottage has its own sitting area and views toward the volcanoes. The main lodge building houses the dining room, bar, and library.
