Gorillas are trekked in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda with four different trekking sectors that are Buhoma, Nkuringo, Ruhija and Rushaga. Each trekking sector has different Gorillas families, on the day of your trek you are assigned once gorilla family to visit. Additionally, gorilla trekking is available in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, where there is one family available for trekking.
Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale National Park
Kibale National Park, known for its diverse ecosystem and high primate density, is another highlight of our Uganda Primate Safaris. The park is home to 13 species of primates, including over 1,250 chimpanzees. Its rich biodiversity includes 351 tree species and a variety of other mammal species.
