5 Days Uganda Chimpanzee trekking & Wildlife SafariDay 1. Arrival and transfer to hotel

Upon arrival, you will be picked from the airport by our driver guide who will brief you about the 5 Days Uganda Chimpanzee Trekking & Wildlife Safari and transfer you to Kampala to your booked hotel accommodation, with a stunning view of the city, later check in to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Accommodation: Latitude 0 (luxury lodge) or Cassia lodge (Mid-range lodge) or Forest Cottages (budget lodge).Meal Plan: Dinner.

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale. Travel Time +5hrs

Have a relaxed morning breakfast, and transferred to Kibale National Park, one of the dense tropical forests’ in the western region of Uganda known as the homes of chimpanzees. The drive may take + 5 hours with en route stop overs to stretch, take photography as you watch over the rolling hills and swampy wetlands along the country side till you find yourself in Fort Portal then Kibale. You will check in to your lodge for lunch. After lunch, you will head for a swamp walk at Bigodi bird sanctuary which is another hot spot to spot for primates and bird species. It is a birding paradise. You will later return in the evening for dinner and overnight at Crater Safari lodge (luxury lodge) or Tulaco Treetop Lodge (Mid-range lodge) or Chimpanzee Forest Guest House(budget lodge). Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & dinner.

Day 3:  Chimpanzee trekking and Queen Elizabeth National Park Travel Time +3hrs

After having your morning cup of African coffee, you will be drive for brief at Kanyanchu visitor’s center, where you will later find access to the forest to trek the chimpanzees. Kibale is home to over 13 primate’s species including Thomas galagoes, red tailed monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, baboons, to mention but a few which are often sites along the route on trekking the chimpanzees. You will be given an hour on finding the chimpanzees to watch their daily life. After trekking, you will head for lunch before driving to Queen Elizabeth National Park, well known for the tree climbing lions and the beautiful Kazinga channel which connects Lake Edward and George. Queen Elizabeth is one of the famous and most visited national park having a number of wildlife and birth species. Dinner and overnight at Parkview Safari Lodge (luxury lodge) or Baboon Forest lodge (mid-range lodge) or Simba safari lodge (budget lodge). Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & dinner.

Day 4: Game drive & boat cruise at Queen Elizabeth

Today after having your morning breakfast, you head off to the park at the famous Kasenyi side for morning game drivein search of wildlife and a number of bird species including the search for the big cats. You will later drive for lunch before heading for a two hours boat cruise along the Kazinga channel famous for harboring over 5000 hippos, in its pool. Number of bird species, animals and Nile crocodiles can be seen here. You will later drive back in the evening to your lodge with a brief evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Parkview Safari Lodge (luxury lodge) or Baboon Forest lodge (mid-range lodge) or Simba safari lodge (budget lodge). Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & dinner.

Day 5: Drive back to Kampala/ Entebbe.

Today after your morning breakfast, you start your journey back to Kampala with an en route lunch along the way and a stopover at the Equator for photography. You will later be transferred to Entebbe airport for your flight back home. End of service!
